We offer a buying method that bring as less as possible headaches with three different packs: > Print, with the entire family exported as .otf & .ttf files > Web, with the entire family exported as .woff, .woff2, and .ttf files > Custom, with fonts chosen and generated on our platform as instances. Starting from 80CHF per instance, followed by a 20% discount per additional instances.

Currently, we only support .ttf, .woff and .woff2, as format for any generated fonts. However, we are working hard to give you also access to .otf files.

We are using the safe and easy online payment platform Stripe, accepting Credit Card, Mastercard, Visa, American Express..

From our Custom pack, we let our customer choose our products à la carte. And, we offer a decreasing price of 20% for each additional font within a same family, just to be fair and make sense out of the shopping procedure. Please contact us for any large order beyond €5,000. For student discount, please send us an email with your request and a non-retouched copy of your student ID at info@hooloovoo.studio. For non-profit organization projects, please contact us for more information, so that we issue a specific License and EULA if we agree to it.

lo-ol type foundry is a company small enough to not include VAT in the products (for now).

lo-ol type foundry is registered in Switzerland, for which we have to issue our invoices in Swiss Francs. If you need an estimate prior to a purchase, we can provide it as a PDF document in the desired currency following the rate of the issue date.

Your order is ready to download once your payment is validated. You will also receive a confirmation email containing the fonts as zip files. If at any point you want to download again your purchased fonts, you can find them on your account of our platform.

All invoices are issued as PDF format files and available anytime from the Licensee's account. If you require an invoice in a different language (it is in English by default), please contact us at support@lo-ol.design.

We create and publish our typefaces when we believe them to be ready for the real world. However, we live in a forever changing world. Each typefaces will be updated progressively (additional glyphs for one or several scripts, new styles, weight or design axis...). We will notify our customers of any new update or upgrade. As some upgrades may require extensive work, lo-ol type holds the right to offer free updates or upgrades with additional fees.

If you want to download again previously purchased fonts, you can find them on your account of our platform.

Downloaded fonts are not returnable.

By the word "font", it is considered to be an individual style from a typeface that can contain several of them, called a typeface family. For example, Superheat is a typeface family with multiple styles such as Superheat Regular Italic and Superheat Bold. Digitally speaking, those styles are generated as individual files available in various file formats that we call "fonts files".

Print typefaces use .otf file format. You will find all the characters and additional functionalities giving access to ligatures and special additional features. While .otf files are made for print usage (with Applications like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and so on), for Web the font format used are .woff, .woff2 and .ttf.

lo-ol typefaces cover several languages using Latin script (Latin alphabet). We are working on the coverage for Hangul (Korean) and will notify our customers once they will be available. We keep at our discretion the choice of character sets for Hanzi and Hangul. Please note that because adding those scripts into their family require an extensive work load, we will provide separate licenses for each script. This said, if you are looking for a typeface with scripts that are not yet available, please contact our support team: support@lo-ol.design.

The EULA’s terms and conditions serve as the basis for all deliveries and services of the supplier to the exclusion of any other general terms and conditions of business. Each product, in our case a font or a font family, have an entitled contract informing the Licencee of what is allowed and what is not to do with the font, the number of user(s) and how it can be used.

A license is a legal permit specific to a determined number of products allowing the buyer to use it on a number of projects for a certain type of platform (all specified during the shopping procedure). We divide our licenses in three categories: Print, Web and Custom. If you have any question concerning our licence, feel free to contact us at support@lo-ol.design.

lo-ol type's trial files let you try our product in a design or project. However, we trust our customer / future customer to make the right move. By that we mean: don't use our trial for any paid projects, whether commercial or not. Better summarized: we are available to discuss but trials remain trials. Use it only for your personal use and to make a better judgment on whether you need to buy this product or not.

Your account will be created during your first purchase on lo-ol type Studio's platform. It will give you access to all previous purchases with their receipts. You only need your email address to connect to your lo-ol type account. At any time, you can delete your account. However, by doing so, you agree to loose access to any of the digital products linked to the account.
