Kronik Antik
An audacious transitional serif typeface that bridges the world of slab serif and didone

Kronik Antik is a typeface that explores the intersection of the Didone tradition, geometric proportions often found in sans-serif fonts, and slab-serif lineage. In its text style, it adopts an almost monolinear aspect in its lightest weights and becomes warmer and friendlier in its black weight. The display style strongly highlights the Didone heritage and reinforces a very vertical rhythm. Antik text and display styles are the foundation of the entire Kronik explorations, in terms of proportions, contrast, angle, and serif style across the three sub-families which are Kronik Antik, Kronik Vision and Kronik Grotesk.
